About the Role

This role may be known as Data Analyst or Advisor, Data Analytics in other organisations.


Our department - Organisation & People development (OPD) crafts the culture for business impact by providing simple, creative, and commercial solutions for current and future business challenges.


As a part of a distributed team, you will collaborate very closely across teams that plan, market and execute global solutions, and support them with your skills in all aspects of data analytics, including mining, generation and visualisation.


You will enjoy this role if you are keen on working with data and bringing it to life across a variety of projects and solutions. From design to execution, we enable and equip HR with meaningful material for a smooth roll-out, helping to land the OPD solutions. Main tasks:


  • Support project management, steering and coordinating the planning, organisation and implementation of OPD initiatives

  • Across various topics, transform data into readable, goal-focused insights and reports for continued innovation and growth, bringing data insights into product decisions

  • Use data visualisation for easy consumption of data at senior management-level

  • Put on a business thinking cap to derive and drive insights and actions that can be taken to effectively support the business

  • Create reporting dashboards using modern cloud-based tools to deliver data insights, streamline manual processes and optimise where possible

  • Use data analytics and help bring in data and metrics driven decision-making across OPD solutions and the OPD team. Measure the metrics of our solutions and propose/implement ways to improve them.

  • Prepare, curate and update meaningful material including digital formats and platforms

  • Help establish sustainable processes to make OPD solutions data driven, and advise your colleagues, helping steer initiatives from ideation to execution

  • Take initiative to engage with OPD partners and cross-functional teams for effective implementation

  • Ensure high quality of services and a smooth collaboration with specialists, OPD Regional Leads, OPD Partners

  • Manage vendors and suppliers, and the budget where needed


About the Team

We in OPD design, plan and land various people development, culture change and learning initiatives and programmes. This includes initiatives and people solutions across Performance Management, Talent Management, Engagement, Inclusion and Diversity as well as blended learning.

About You


  • Around 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably as a Data Analyst in the HR or Organisational Effectiveness space handling people-related data

  • Experience in working on Business intelligence tools/platforms and systems, knowledge of statistics and proficiency in Excel

  • High level of data literacy with excellent attention to detail, passionate in data driven decisions and ability to advise various partners and stakeholders across the organisation

  • Excellent command of English


If you also have the following experience, it is a major plus:


  • Excellent presentation skills (authoring and presenting), ideally with a mix of experience in analytical storytelling and planning, are a major plus.

  • Basic project management skills, or some experience in leading or supporting the delivery of projects and initiatives would be nice to have

  • Knowledge of Design Thinking, UX and/or CX

  • Knowledge of SQL and Python

  • Some knowledge of Agile ways of working, including frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban would be a plus

The minimum gross monthly base salary for this role is 1600 EUR full time. Our final offer to you will be set up fairly, considering the skills and experience that you bring to the Swiss Re Group. You can look forward to extra rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based bonus.
