Distribution Management Intern

About the Role: 

  • As part of the Distribution Management team, become a key resource for analytical projects, broker meeting preparation, and gain exposure to our most important trading partners

In joining Distribution Management, you will gain a detailed knowledge of insurance and Swiss Re from a global perspective and across all applicable lines of business. You will have the ability to develop further through close collaboration with Distribution managers, Client Managers, Underwriting, and Executive leaders.

 

About the Team: 

The Corporate Solutions Distribution Management Team represents all products and solutions to lead the broker engagement experience, sales and business development efforts for a group of managed brokers. We are a collaborative and innovative team working together to deliver a best-in-class customer centric experience.

 

About You: 

Essentials:

  • Working toward a Bachelor's Degree
  • Desire to learn about Commercial Insurance
  • Interest in complex, global trading relationships

Nice to Haves:

  • Team player, strong collaborator
  • Interest in developing data and presentation skills using programs such as Power BI, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Solid communication skills and ability to adapt to different audiences and situations
  • Coachable with a continuous student mentality
