The Opportunity:

In this position, you will run the execution of our sales strategy in the Nordic markets, representing all our products and solutions across our commercial insurance client base.

 

The primary objectives of the role:

You will be responsible for developing and leading our commercial activities in The Nordics

You will contribute to be creative innovative and develop the markets solutions by focusing on our commercial strategy leveraging on Corporate Solution's creative product offerings and value proposition.

You shall ensure that profitable growth is accelerated and commercial success is achieved.

You shall, together with our Key Account and Senior Client Manager, maintain and develop the relationship with key client and brokers across the Nordic countries.

You will work in close cooperation with all lines of business underwriting teams, claims, risk engineering, business services, marketing and structures complex/strategic solutions to achieve commercial success.

 

About the role:

  • You shall handle relationships in a mixed portfolio of large clients and brokers together with a team of dedicated colleagues.
  • You will be responsible to grow our portfolio of business across multiple business segments such as Large Commercial, SME and niche products like Weather, Agro and Credit.
  • You will represent the full range of our products and solutions and in collaboration and alignment with the Country Manager, you will assist develop and implement the sales strategy for the local business. In addition, you will lead and/or participate in cross-functional initiatives and projects.
  • You are to develop and drive concrete business targets (accounts) for the assigned market within the defined strategy and act as exclusive. Moreover, maintain an excellent understanding of our target client base to ensure we meet their needs and retain renewed business.
  • You will work closely with the Regional Key Account Management function to handle key customers, thereby improve turnover and profit for the company.
  • Together with the Country Manager, you are to maintain and establish positive relationships with client representatives and senior management teams of broking houses and key agents in assigned market, and ensure to fulfil the sales discipline and framework
  • Actively manage/monitor local brokers sales agreement and related engagement plans
  • You will represents us at different insurance and broker events and ensure follow up of sales activities and quantification of benefits.

 

About you:

We ask that you can show an impressive and demonstrable record in sales and new business origination and have an ambitious mindset a confirmed strategic attitude.

We are looking for a tenacious and result driven colleague with strong negotiating and influencing skills

You have:

  • A university degree or equivalent with a strong business component preferred
  • 15+ years of track record in the insurance industry with a minimum 3 years in a comparable position
  • A wide network with key partners like brokers, corporate risk managers and insurance professionals.

You are:

  • Highly energized and motivated to achieve excellence and you have excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ambitious, working dedicatedly using own initiative and under limited supervision
  • An excellent teammate and can easily work with colleagues in multiple locations and business units, across organizational boundaries
  • Fluent in Danish/Scandinavian and as English is our company language it is a requirement that you can handle this language as well.
