A&H Sales/Account Management & Event Services Intern

About the role 

The position will primarily focus on administrative assistance for the Account Management Team and the Corporate Events Manager. 

The intern will assist in the following essential functions for Account Management:

  • Gather Information from DY to complete SCC form for new business
  • Assist in follow-up calls or emails checking the status of outstanding Apps or Riders which require signature
  • Assist with all other duties as requested and assigned

 

The intern will assist in the following essential functions for both virtual and in-person events:

 

About the team

This intern position will support two areas within A&H Sales team.  First, Account Management who is responsible for the day to day needs of our producers and policyholders along with presenting and negotiating the policy renewals. Additionally, A&H Corporate Events Managers who is responsible for planning, negotiating and coordinating all A&H corporate events, memberships, partner sponsorships and charities.

  • Strong computer skills with willingness to learn new software programs such as, DY (underwriting, producer and policyholder system) and CVENT (a creative event design and reporting program)
  • Intermediate knowledge of the following computer programs:
    • Excel
    • Word
    • Outlook
    • Powerpoint
