About the Role


Do you like driving the big picture and at the same time rolling up your sleeves for the details? Are you comfortable to co-create solutions with insurance subject matter experts and bring in your expertise in modern tools to deliver business transformation? If yes, then we are looking for you as a highly motivated new team member to take the Asia Business Transformation capability to new heights.


This exciting opportunity will require you to closely collaborate across various seniority levels with numerous business teams on a market, regional as well as global level. You will act as a trusted partner with great can-do attitude on all matters related to strategy execution and business transformation.


This role will be an exciting opportunity to support the further growth of Asia by keeping the execution of our strategy focused on the topics that really matter and make the difference.


The key tasks are:

  • Act as key member of the business transformation practice for Reinsurance Asia, across P&C and L&H
  • Collaborate closely with Business SME on selected growth initiatives to co-create and deliver value above and beyond of process management and admin support
  • Support Business SME across functions to "connect the dots", formulate growth strategies and translate long-term ambition to actionable goals
  • Leverage and promote modern Business Transformation technics (e.g. Agile, Design Thinking, Change Management) in the execution of selected projects
  • Contribute to an Asia "Business Transformation Community" for staff members, focus on Project Management, Change Management, Storytelling, Design Thinking
  • Continuously improve the regional Business Transformation capability

Strategy & Operations Asia is a team of out-of-the-box thinkers, who are responsible for a wide and diverse range of topics. We provide and improve the platform for the success of the Asia Region, by facilitating connections across functions, teams and initiatives. This is an exciting team for people who enjoy navigating ambiguity to develop new content to address strategic opportunities and challenges. Team members need to be highly motivated to work both autonomously and with diverse partners across the region and globally.


Our team members are located all over Asia, with a focus on our two regional hubs Singapore and Hong Kong.

About You


  • 4-5 years of experience working in consulting, corporate strategy or other relevant roles
  • Analytics Mastermind: Structured and analytical thinker as well as problem solver with "can-do" attitude
  • Story Guru: Proficient in story telling as well as slide writing and presentation compilation based on PowerPoint
  • Delivery Champ: Work experience in business transformation execution, e.g. project and change management. Hands on experience in Agile delivery methods a plus
  • Self-starter: Motivated to take ownership and deliver above and beyond the expectations of stakeholders
  • Insurance Expert: Good understanding of the end-to-end business model, including product offerings, of a re-/insurance company
  • Innovation Wizard: Ability to think strategically and "out-of-the-box", provide innovative perspectives and not shy to engage in new topics. Fluent in Design Thinking methods a plus
  • Technology / Data Geek: Solid understanding of these two topics in the context of the Re-/Insurance industry and the resulting implications / opportunities
