About the Role

 

Do you like driving the big picture and at the same time rolling up your sleeves for the details? Are you comfortable to work in the context of Business Strategy, Operational Strategy and Initiative Management? Do you have the magic skill to mobilize your work colleagues to achieve a common target? If yes, then we are looking for you as our newest team member in the L&H Asia Business Operations team.

 

You will be the trusted partner for the L&H Asia Management team as well as the various Market cross functional teams (XFTs) on all matters related to the L&H Asia Operational Strategy as well as initiative execution in a broad context. And this in a multi-faceted and results-oriented working environment.

 

If you are passioned to support the growth of our L&H Asia business by keeping the execution of our strategy focused on the topics that really matter, then this role is what you were looking for.

 

The key tasks are:
•    Own a future-proof Operational Strategy Roadmap for L&H Asia, supporting the related Business Strategy 
•    Connect the dots between the L&H Asia Strategy, the global Change Roadmap and the Business Architecture for L&H Asia, i.e. act as facilitator to work jointly towards the L&H Asia Strategic Priorities
•    Identify and improve specific capabilities along the L&H value chain (process, systems, data, organization) 
•    Chair the regional L&H Business Operations Group Meeting to drive alignment and joint movement in improving the L&H Asia Operating Platform
•    Drive the implementation of key regional initiatives related to a future proof Operating Platform for L&H Asia as well as operational/process improvements

Strategy & Operations Asia is a team of out-of-the-box problem solvers, who are responsible for a wide and diverse range of topics. We provide and improve the platform for the success of the Asia Region, by facilitating connections across functions, teams and initiatives. This is an exciting team for people who enjoy navigating ambiguity to develop new content to address strategic opportunities and challenges. Team members need to be highly motivated to work both autonomously and with diverse partners across the region and globally.


Our team members are located all over Asia, with a focus on our two regional hubs Singapore and Hong Kong.
 

About You

 

•    L&H Insurance Specialist: Deep understanding of the end-to-end business model, including product offerings, of a re-/insurance company 
•    Continuous Improvement & Delivery Champ: Wide work experience in as-is assessments, to-be articulations and the resulting change roadmap definition and execution. Experience in Business Modelling across the dimensions of process, data, IT systems, organization a plus.
•    Analytics Mastermind: Structured and analytical problem solver with outstanding "can-do" demeanor
•    Story Guru: Proficient in story telling as well as slide writing and presentation compilation based on PowerPoint
•    Technology / Data Enthusiast: Solid understanding of these two topics in the context of the Re- /Insurance industry and the resulting implications / opportunities
•    People & Process Wizard: Ability to efficiently and effectively handle articulated tasks, by open people engagement as well as solid process management
