Senior Integration Engineer

 

About the role:

Are you a Senior Integration Engineer who has hands-on experience in write code for data transformationsintegrating IT systems with SaaS solutions and a passion for working in an agile team? Then you are exactly the person we are looking for!

You will be part of a squad responsible for Procurement, Audit and Finance applications.

As a Senior Integration Engineer, you:

 

  • Design and Develop Integration Solutions: Architect, design, and implement integration solutions using Azure Integration Services (AIS) such as Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Service Bus, API Management, and Event Grid.
  • Data Integration: Integrate on-premises and cloud-based data sources to facilitate data migration, transformation, and synchronization across systems.
  • API Management: Develop and manage APIs for internal and external applications, ensuring security, scalability, and performance.
  • Automation and Optimization: Automate workflows and business processes using Azure Logic Apps and Azure Functions, optimizing existing integrations for improved efficiency and reliability.
  • Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Implement monitoring tools and processes to proactively identify and resolve integration issues, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, software development, and database administration, to deliver integrated solutions that align with business objectives.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for integration processes, solutions, and configurations.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest Azure technologies and best practices, continuously enhancing integration strategies to meet evolving business needs.
  • Guidance: Guide the integration Engineers from our outsourcing partner and provide technical mentorship.[DS2] 
  • Goverance: For new solutions or significant changes to any solution, you own and drive our Digital Governance Framework process by providing required information and close relevant risk assessment gates.

We are responsible for Swiss Re's Legal & Compliance, Audit, Procurement and parts of the Finance applications. About you:

You are passionate about technology. You are flexible and open-minded, committed with an ability to learn new skills quickly. You have:

Experience:

  • 6-8 years of hands-on development experience as a working professional.
  • Experience in integrating enterprise applications, such as ERP, CRM, and other SaaS platforms.

Technical Expertise:

  • Deep technical knowledge on software development with a particular focus on Integration and SaaS solutions.
  • Proficient in Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Service Bus, API Management, Event Grid).
  • Deep technical understanding of web technologies such as: HTTP, HTML, XML, JSON Web services, SOAP & REST API, SAML.
  • Experience with data integration and ETL processes.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python.
  • Understanding of networking, security, and identity management within Azure.
  • Database expertise with Oracle, MS SQL, Azure SQL or similar.
  • Work experience on the Coupa platform is a plus.

Soft Skills:

  • Ability to guide the technical and functional design of other squad members.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and dedication to quality and timely delivery
  • Good interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, including clear articulation of technical topics to a non-technical audience
