About the role

As a Corporate Real Estate and Services (CRES) Financial Analyst in the CRES Americas Regional Team you'll combine your extensive analytical, financial, and process/project management experience to support regional financial management, global projects, and help deputize the Regional Manager over planning and controlling activities and other regional duties.

Your primary responsibilities include:

  • You work closely with the Regional Planning and Controlling manager and Local Site Office managers to develop, forecast, and manage the regional budgeting and payment process
  • You will become a subject matter expert in the Digital Business Management tool and MySpend, the current budgeting and procurement platforms.
  • You will represent Region Americas on global/regional projects.
  • You will deputize other regional responsibilities and processes surrounding vendor management, contract management, environmental management, risk mgmt., and other regional tasks.
  • You will assist in project budget creation, tracking, and closure reporting.
  • Review and propose continuous improvement on regional processes
  • Provide benchmarking and trend analysis together with regional and global business units

About you

  • You have a minimum of 3 years of experience in process and project management
  • You bring along experience in planning and managing operational and project budgets
  • You have strong analytical skills, and take on problems in a structured way, joining your own creative ideas and those of others. You can do this on an abstract level and engage in detail to make sure ideas are realistic and pragmatic
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in accounting, management or finance preferred
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills; SharePoint experience required
  • An understanding of the insurance industry is a plus
  • Knowledge of USGAAP and IFRS is a plus.
  • Experience with ISO 9000 or ISO14001 standards preferred. Internal audit certification desired.
  • Facility management experience a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to write documents in a clear concise manner in conveying new procedures or instructions.
  • Strong relationship skills; people oriented and able to collaborate with peers in the Americas as well as in global regions
