About the Role
As Commercial Pricing Analyst you will be working closely with our Life & Health Client Markets and technical Costing teams to deliver winning commercial solutions across our UK & Irish client base. This is an ideal role for somebody who is interested in a career path that combines client management and actuarial science.
Key responsibilities include:
- Production of commercial reinsurance offers to drive our new business origination in both UK and Irish Life & Health markets
- Engaging with clients to identify their needs and match them to our suite of reinsurance offerings
- Creating compelling value propositions for clients that differentiate Swiss Re from its competition
- Marketing new solutions and ideas to deepen our client relationships
Participating in brand promotion activities and becoming a visible member of our sales team.
About the Team
Your role will be an integral part of Swiss Re's Life & Health market unit in the UK. The team is small in number yet carries significant responsibility in the business with overall accountability for the new business production of the entire UK & Ireland L&H portfolios. This drives a strong team dynamic with a focus on sharing success and supporting each other. Our aim is to balance the demands of delivering excellent client service with a lively, fun and energetic working environment.

- You have a passion for taking our products and ideas to clients and becoming involved with large and complex commercial deals
- You are diligent, committed to quality and to delivering a first-class client experience

- You are inquisitive and would like to learn more about Life & Health insurance and medical science trends
- You have a university degree with a strong numerical component (e.g. Mathematics, Physics, Economics, Actuarial Science) and have an interest in becoming an actuary
