We are looking for graduates with strong interpersonal skills, who are eager to learn and broaden their knowledge and expertise! You have a Bachelor, Master or PhD degree with up to 3 years professional experience – we invite you to apply to our graduates@swissre programme 2022.

About the Role


We are seeking a highly motivated person to join our Global Life and Health Claims Team based in Folkestone! As a member of the team you will be involved in a broad range of work which covers the team's remit and responsibilities, delivering services and solutions to our Regional Claims teams and our Clients.

Given the diverse nature of the Global Life and Health Claims Team's remit, this role provides flexibility and an opportunity to choose a discipline to focus on and to further develop your skills and experience. Depending on your degree, experience and interest, your focus may support different team initiatives. For example, Data Science experience and interest may focus more on use of Technology, Innovation and Analytics, whereas Business Administration experience and interest may focus on Project Management and Delivery, and/or Operational Effectiveness and Experience Improvement.


About the Team


The Global Life and Health Claims Team, within Client Service Delivery (CSD) Division, develops and delivers client-centric, global claims services & solutions to our regional L&H Claims Teams and our Client partners.


Members of the Global Life and Health (L&H) Claims Team are based in numerous locations around the world, making it a truly international team. The team's remit is also diverse spanning a number of areas including Claims Quality and Assurance, Training and Development (internally and externally), Thought Leadership, Claims Experience Improvement, use of Technology and Innovation, Data Analytics, and Monitoring and Reporting.


The team is also responsible for bringing the global Swiss Re L&H Claims Community together through networks, events and regular communications.

About You


•    Successfully completed university degree in Business, Economics, Project Management, Social Science, Science or equivalent
•    Strong interest in/motivation to learn about insurance/reinsurance
•    Capacity to readily adapt to a changing and dynamic environment
•    Approaches problems with curiosity and flexibility
•    Innovative, showing a high degree of own initiative
•    Team-player, willingness to chip in actively to the overall team spirit
•    Ability and enthusiasm to work in a global, virtual, and multicultural environment
•    Aptitude to express yourself effectively in one-on-one conversations and small groups
•    Mature & self-confident; able to work with clients, business partners and senior colleagues
•    Ability to work independently and proactively
•    Strong analytical skills and can focus on details without losing track of the bigger picture
•    Excellent oral and written English skills; additional language skills advantageous
•    Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
•    Very good communication and interpersonal skills
