Sales Performance Specialist

About the team


Our mission is to reduce the protection gap by simplifying insurance and making it more accessible to people. We create innovative insurance solutions sold directly to consumers through our distribution partners in 6 European countries. The Sales and Marketing Team is key to driving this new business forward and is responsible for acquiring, onboarding and developing new distribution partnerships.


This role sits within the newly set up B2B Sales Management Team, whose responsibility is to support our distribution teams with market analysis and strategy, B2B marketing, sales planning & reporting, CRM development and implementation of sales projects.

Are you looking to take your next step in a start-up environment offering room for you to grow? As a Sales Performance Expert, you have an exceptional and exciting opportunity to join iptiQ's Distribution team


We are looking for a passionate Sales Performance Expert with strong analytical and reporting skills to set up and drive sales performance reviews. In addition, you'll develop and run an effective account portfolio management as well as performance enhancement tools. Finally, you'll own the account management framework and account governance processes. In this role you will work closely with the local sales managers across Europe and the wider cross functional teams where necessary.

 

As a Sales Performance Expert, your key activities will be:

 

  • Set up and run regular sales performance analysis
  • Develop and run account portfolio management: 

 

  1. Analysis of performance and development of the portfolio against plan, business cases and strategy
  2. Develop performance-based account segmentation and activity model 
  3. Develop and manage a sales performance enhancement toolbox

 

  • Own and further develop the account management framework
  • Manage account governance processes


The successful candidate will get involved with many different business areas across the entire company as well as senior management which provides the opportunity to grow in a small, driven and committed team. 


About You


1.    University degree in Economics, Science, Accounting or Business Administration or equivalent work experience.
2.    Minimum of 2 years' experience in primary insurance in a finance or sales environment
3.    Experience in a controlling/ Financial Planning & Analysis role is an advantage.
4.    Advanced MS Excel skills and ideally Power BI experience
5.    Strong analytical skills with the ability to learn new information quickly
6.    Solid organizational skills including a structured working style and attention to detail
7.    Ability to deal positively with ambiguity and change in a fast-paced business environment
8.    You have strong communication skills and like to collaborate with others
9.    English is iptiQ's business language and therefore essential. Additional language skills (German, Spanish, French, Italian) are a plus.
