About the Role

You are passionate about scrum and agile, are known by a positive, "can do attitude", and have helped many teams to apply the Scrum framework successfully? You can explain empiricism and the importance of the Scrum values in an easy in convincing manner? You know the "The New Product Development Game" and the Scrum guide well and you still find reading them inspirational and relevant for solving complex problems? However, you are not foreign to adapt practises and principles from other agile frameworks as you believe more in agility then following any framework.  

 

 

As a Scrum Master you will...

 

  • Teach the framework as needed 
  • Coach individuals, teams and organizations to apply the framework 
  • Develop high-performing teams and organizations 
  • Remove impediments (at all levels, including organizational) teams cannot 
  • Establish an impact, value delivery focused mindset 
  • Contribute to the agile community, act as a change agent 
  • Promote and coach self-organization and continuous improvement 
  • Contribute to Swiss Re's Healthy and transparent risk culture where everyone engages in continuous risk accountability activities. 

 

 

About the Team 


GTS Digital Workplace provides cutting-edge products, services and support enabling Swiss Re's workforce to work from anywhere (remote and in every location), anytime in a stable and secured environment; giving them the time to focus and innovate. 
We achieve this through: 

  • Developing and maintaining a comprehensive portfolio of standard end to end digital workplace products and services needed to support productivity, collaboration and communication (e.g. Microsoft Office 365, Windows 10)  
  • Standardizing our portfolio catalogue of services and end user technology products, helping to provide greater transparency and efficiency, enabling every employee to be educated and supported equally regardless of their respective location.  
  • Leveraging our global, regional and local vendors, suppliers and service provider relationships to balance value for money and high-end technical solutions. 

 

About you:  

 

  • University degree 
  • 3+ years of practical experience in the role 
  • Certification: Professional Scrum Master or Certified Scrum Master 
  • Experienced with change: initiating, triggering it, guiding through, making it sustainable 
  • Strong track record in coaching individuals, teams and organizations, creating high-performing, self-managed teams  
  • Naturally act as a true leader  
  • High level of situational awareness 
  • Strong problem solving and interpersonal skills 
  • Very good in facilitation, and influencing across teams and departments 
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Experienced working with intercultural and geographically dispersed team members 
  • Working experience with outsourced teams 
  • Strong English language skills, German language skills would be a plus

For Spain, the base salary range for this position is between [EUR 42.000] and [EUR 70.000] (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:

  • the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,
  • the applicant's own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialization, skills and experience.

In the situation where you do not meet all the requirements or you significantly exceed these, the offered salary may be below or above the advertised range.
In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for additional rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based annual bonus.
