About the role:

In this position, together with the Client Service Manager is the local point of contact for all IT related topics, responsible for clearly communicating, prioritizing and implementing the different IT projects and initiatives, leveraging efforts and knowledge from local, regional and global teams. The CSA should act as a trusted advisor and must be able to navigate amongst different teams with different priorities, managing to keep the focus on the needs of our local operation while still maintaining good alignment with broader teams and global initiatives.


In addition to a good understanding of the insurance value chain, the ideal person should have a good understanding of Agile methodologies, mostly Scrum, and willingness to be a hybrid resource who might play different roles in different projects. You will be able to experience and train yourself in various roles – at moments you might support as Change Manager, or a Project Lead, a Product Owner, a Scrum Master, a Business Analyst, a Consultant or simply provide necessary support to any of those roles.

As part of this role, you will:

  • Build and maintain a positive relationship with our various internal customers.
  • Joining forces with other technology teams, you will support on eliciting requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, business process descriptions and operating model analysis – whatever fits best the specific needs of each project and team.
  • Analyze business problems to be solved and translate business needs into system requirements for Insurance platforms, communicating it clearly to all required technology teams.
  • Actively support backlog management.
  • Prioritize and/or negotiate prioritization with Product Owners when necessary.
  • Ensure transparency by constant communication and active expectations management with all clients.
  • Participate in functional test of change, provide defect analysis and organize User Acceptance test – whatever fits best the specific needs of each project and team.
  • Actively support and participate (and sometimes, manage) in all related Scrum events – sprint planning, daily standup, sprint review, retrospective; and Scrum artifacts – product and sprint backlogs.
  • Lead and handle training change management and rollout plans for new and current initiatives, when required.
  • Supports the operational delivery and the service operations, when needed.


About you:

  • You have tangible experience and/or understanding in the end-to-end insurance value chain.
  • You have knowledge and experience working on Agile teams and related Scrum events and artefacts.
  • You are experienced in process documentation, presentation preparation and playing supporting roles in meeting facilitation.
  • Confident in engaging courageously, challenging constructively and voicing opinions to find solutions.
  • Ability and confidence to interact with senior stakeholders within the organization.
  • Demonstrates passion to perform, by stepping up and taking personal accountability and inspiring others through enthusiasm and commitment.
  • Manage ambiguity well and deal positively with conflict.
  • Strong active listening skills, able to remove any barriers by communicating and collaborating with other team members, effectively managing and resolving conflict.
  • Enjoy working in a collaborative, multicultural and cross-functional teamwork environment.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to adapt to shifting or competing priorities and try new things, even at the risk of failure.
  • Emerging Technology Monitoring as a plus: ability to ping out and drive assessment of new technologies and products, services, methods or techniques which have potential value for our operation.



  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, with a background in mathematics, computer science, physics, finance or related.
  • Fluent in English and native Spanish speaker.
  • Solid understanding of data models / table structures with proven ability to create / execute SQL, conduct data analysis and provide conclusions.
  • Familiarity with Webservices, XML, JSON and API a plus.
