About the Role

In this client facing role you will be responsible to generate and develop business opportunities together with our partners across industries. You contribute to the full range of activities around innovative customer propositions, from early stage origination to specific transactions in the execution phase. You will assume responsibility to generate new ideas for our partners and test those within the market. You are part of interdisciplinary teams working together along the value chain and across Europe.

iptiQ P&C is new to the Italian market and you will be one of our first employees developing the market. You are invited to make first steps in tailoring our flexible solutions to our B2B2C partnerships. You are working closely with our re-insurance and corporate solutions account managers to take advantage of Swiss Re's global network to build and grow the business pipeline. Preferred place to work is Milan.

About the Team

We are a dynamic, international team which strives to create digital, simple and transparent white labeling solutions. You will be part of iptiQ EMEA P&C's business development team which is responsible to create tailored retail solutions with our external partners to serve the B-B-C market. We use the Swiss Re network to access state of the art technologies and capabilities, combine it with local expertise and an innovative mind-set, constantly questioning current ways of offering insurance.

 

About You

  • University degree or equivalent
  • Several years of relevant work experience in the P&C retail space (Product Management, Proposition Development, Client Management or Consulting)
  • Leadership or extensive project management experience in execution comprehensive deliverables across the insurance value chain
  • Good understanding of P&C retail insurance markets, products and regulatory frameworks in Italy
  • Creative and have many ideas how to improve the current market practices and enhancing the customer experience through simplified and transparent products
  • Hands-on and independent working style embracing cross-functional teams and partnering with distribution partners from different industries and backgrounds
  • Technology minded with a clear view on how technology can be used for customer friendly underwriting and more attractive insurance products
  • Entrepreneurial and able to demonstrate commercial acumen when partnering with partners and driving product innovation
  • Clear and effective communication with internal and external business leaders within Italian and English; fluency in other EU languages is an advantage
