About the role


This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional to help executing the people agenda in a complex country. Our HR agenda is focused on building a significant impact on people's lives. Supporting Swiss Re, business unit colleagues and the global HR team, your focus will be running the day-to-day HR operations in the Italian team, driving operational excellence and fostering agile change.

What you will be doing

 

  • Deliver seamless experience to our clients through a smooth operational model and a solid support to their queries;
  • Ensure consistency in the execution of the HR policies and processes;
  • Partner with our payroll provider to ensure correct and timely payroll delivery;
  • Own onboarding, offboarding – (including relevant communications to the authorities), time management and meal voucher cycles;
  • Run the benefits enrollment processes;
  • Ensure all our standards, legal, regulatory, compliance and audit requirements and other necessary controls are in place;
  • Be the core local HR processes expert while partnering the central teams and WE/MEA colleagues for the shared/offshored processes and international projects;
  • Support in maintaining relationship with local vendors and interfacing the labor consultant;
  • Support the HR Manager in delivering the HR strategy as required.

About you

 

  • 2+ years of directly applicable HR experience working with cross-functional global teams
  • Knowledge of Italian employment law and experience in HR operations (including managing payroll delivery)
  • Experience with the CCNL assicurativo would be a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience and confidence interacting with HR internal clients.
  • Good detail orientation and an ability to maintain data with 100% accuracy.
  • Ability to recognize process improvement opportunities and act upon them to gain efficiencies in a rapidly scaling environment
  • MS Office professional
  • Must be self-directed and able to manage your time independently
  • Passionate about learning and adapting to evolving culture
