Magnum Project Manager (with English and 2nd European Language) (m/f/x/)

About the role:


You will be part of the Magnum EMEA team within the Life and Health Products Solutions unit. This role involves supporting the implementation of our automated underwriting (UW) tool, Magnum, with client companies across the EMEA region. Magnum forms a key part of our risk management strategy, enabling our clients to benefit from optimized operational processes and to provide the foundation for future growth opportunities. This is an exciting time with Magnum as we are experiencing significant new client activity and developing and commercializing new and innovative UW solutions.

 

Reporting to the Head of Magnum, EMEA, you will part of the team dedicated to delivering Magnum and associated UW solutions. You will have a key role in oversight and management of implementation and BAU projects. You will work closely with the center of competence for Magnum to coordinate best practice and resource planning.

 

The main responsibilities include:

 

  • Project management: managing the overall implementation of client projects, ensuring the system or change to the system is delivered according to the agreed specifications, deadlines and cost
  • Adhering to Magnum project management processes, procedures and use of tools and systems
  • Drive coordination across multiple teams involved in the implementations
  • Effective and transparent communication of progress, risks and issues to all stakeholders including senior management.
  • Supporting the Magnum regional head in resource planning
  • Maintaining clear auditable project documentation
  • Working with clients to coordinate the development of requirements and business specifications, underwriting rule analysis, development and testing.

 

The role will involve some periods of on-site work in client offices and travel within the EMEA region, plus occasional international travel to meet with global Magnum colleagues.

 

About you:

 

  • Strong project and change management skills (Prince 2 and Agile preferred)
  • Focused on execution and delivery
  • Experience with business transformation and business analysis
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Effective scheduling and time management with ability to anticipate challenges
  • Ability to learn about the Magnum solution and have a drive for professional development
  • Show true teamwork, have a flexible and team-based approach to working with the ability to be able to carry out research and work independently and take personal accountability
  • Fluent in English and at least one more European language
  • Experience in technical implementations & the ability to use some of the advanced features of Word/Excel/Access
  • Flexible where travel is required
