Working Student / Intern - Operations Credit & Surety (m/f/x)

We are searching for a motivated Working Student or Intern to join our Credit Operations team. In this role, you will support our successful Corporate Solution Underwriters and be part of the global operative structure, which offers Trade Finance and credit services. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the international Credit & Surety business while covering multinational banks and brokers as part of our core clients.

Your main tasks will include the following:
•    Support along decision-making process, contract negotiations and deal pipeline
•    Review and report of credit exposure utilization
•    Process insurance credit policies and take care of client inquiries
•    Reflect terms and conditions of underlying contracts and deals in our systems
•    Handling of premium calculation, payment reconciliation and invoicing
•    Maintain existing bank and broker business relationship
•    Collaborate with multiple stakeholders and vendors within a global corporate structure
•    Ensure data quality and compliance along internal standards, guidelines and/or regulatory requirements 
•    Support "Know Your Customer" actions according to regulators requirements

Credit & Surety Operations is an emerging team transforming into a trusted partner, closely collaborating with the global Credit & Surety business teams. With passion, as well as our service and customer orientation we strive for high customer satisfaction and help the business to achieve its profitable growth aspiration. Our Credit Operations team services Trade Finance and other credit transactions and is embedded in an expert network across the regions Europe, Asia Pacific, as well as North and Latin America. We are continuously improving and evolving the underlying operating model and strive to standardize and improve processes.

About you

You are passionate about getting to know the world of international insurance. You are excited to work in a cross-functional, international team and are not afraid of challenges and bringing your own ideas to the table. You are an ambitious teammate, who is curious and learns quickly. You have an analytical working style and problem-solving mindset, are well-organized and reliable. You are fluent in German and English language.
