About the role

We have created an exciting opportunity for a multi-line facultative reinsurance intern to get insights into both Property and Casualty facultative underwriting. The candidate will work in a fast-paced, team environment with the highest caliber professionals in the field. This role will expand your network and provide you with the chance to work with different departments within the organization.


As a Fac reinsurance intern you will get first-hand insights into how the team deals with submissions and how to cost and underwrite individual risks with the help of sophisticated pricing and modeling tools. This role is ideal for a person with entrepreneurial skillset who is comfortable working in a dynamic, results oriented environment, approaching problems with curiosity and open-mindedness.



About the team

You will be a part of a high performing, fast paced virtual team, which is at the core of our P&C operations in the Americas.  We are based in New York City, Chicago and Atlanta and have a diverse pool of highly skilled, independent and successful underwriters.


About You

We are looking for a candidate pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Risk Management, Actuarial Science, or other degree with a major that demonstrates robust quantitative fundamentals. The ideal candidate should demonstrate a team and entrepreneurial spirit and possess strong analytical skills. Willingness to learn is key:
