About the Role


The ILS Business Manager is responsible for both pre-close and post-close transaction management for the Insurance Linked Securities (ILS) and Life & Health Structured Solutions (LHSS) businesses.  The ILS Business Manager works closely with the business, clients, and all support functions to facilitate the execution and approval of structured transactions.  The Business Manager is also responsible for ongoing transaction management, trade entry, AML/KYC, payment and expense schedule creation, trade compliance and P&L capture.


About the Team


ILS & Retro Business Management is a division of P&C Business Management dedicated to providing specialized transaction and business support to the ILS, Retro and LHSS businesses. ILS BM works directly with the business to enable structuring, approval, execution and reporting of structured traditional and capital markets transactions. ILS & Retro BM is responsible for developing new products, ensuring deals are monitored/managed through maturity, internal policies are followed, as well as leading strategic revenue generating projects.


About You


  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2+ years capital markets industry experience
  • Operations, Banking/Trust, Compliance or Finance experience preferred
  • Highly motivated with a strong work ethic
  • Advanced ability to navigate ambiguity and multi-task
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Detail oriented
