About The Role


We are looking for an intern who will work with Casualty underwriting team.


Your main tasks will be analyzing and assessing the technical insurability in respect of exposures and coverages, and preparing quotations. Furthermore, you will contribute supporting the internal Swiss Re units.

About You (requirements)

  • At least 2 full years of study towards a Bachelor's or advanced degree in business management, economics, production engineering or related areas.
  • Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and SharePoint.
  • Advanced English or Spanish will be considered a plus.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to clearly, succinctly, and successfully communicate technical issues to both experts and non-experts.
  • Reliable and responsible – delivers high-quality work that is timely, accurate, and complete.
  • Raises early any questions or concerns with respect to completing an assignment.
  • Open-minded, creative, collaborative, and enthusiastic.
