About the role

We are looking for a proactive, organized, focused claims analyst for our Agro Claims Sao Paulo Claims office, ideally with claims handling expertise. Main responsibilities:

- Claims pre-analysis with review and coverage; establish claim files in system

- Acknowledge receipt of claims from stakeholders, brokers and adjusters, follow up with partners for missing information via written communication or via phone (with documented note of call)

- Analyze documents to determine any required financial adjustments

- Make payments for claims indemnity when required.

- Ensure timely and accurate processing of claim documents, including claim payments, new claims, updates, open billing invoices and client inquiries.

- Comply with data quality requirements. Ensure consistency between the information entered in the system and the information provided by the client.

- Communicate with customers including, but not limited to, brokers and stakeholder via telephone, meetings and/or written correspondence to obtain specific information

- Actively work within the team, provide and receive positive feedback and communicate clearly with fellow team members

- Promote claims feedback loops and regular interaction with key internal stakeholders


About the team

This Claims Analyst position will report to our Agro Claims Manager and will also be part of the Brazil Claims team, with 4 claims analysts based in SP and 2 Agro Claims Specialist, both mostly working directly in fields, outside SP city.


About you

- Bachelor degree or equivalent, preferable in Agronomy

- Advanced level in English language desirable

- Strong computer skills (ie. Outlook/Word/Excel/Power Point)

- Solid knowledge of agricultural management procedures

- Experience in the Brazilian market insurance

- Necessarily the person must be organized and hands on

- Ability to manage own workload effectively

- Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines

- Strong analytical skills

- Team worker

- Excellent customer focus and interpersonal skills

- Effective interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills.

- Works with internal experts from other business functions to support the development of solutions

- Ability to acknowledge, implement and drive changes
