About the Team

The Accounting Reporting team is responsible for supporting the Swiss Re Corporate Solutions Group Finance in accounting, planning, controlling, financial analysis and reporting according to local statutory and tax requirements as well as US GAAP accounting policies. As a member of Accounting Reporting team you are responsible for daily accounting activities, analysis, reconciliation, production of required reports for various stakeholders, performance of required controls, adequate documentation for internal and external needs, mainly for Non-Insurance entities

About the Role

  • Prepare the registration & documentation of accounting facts, perform posting analysis as well as reconciliation of accounts and balances, prepare and check mappings of Non-Insurance entities
  • Collaborate to ensure that we are fully compliant with company policies and internal needs as well.
  • Produce reports for internal and external costumers
  • Support the Accounting team on USGAAP quarterly closing processes for Insurance and Non-Insurance entities.
  • Collaborate to produce the reconciliation for local and USGAAP balance sheets and income statements

 

About You

  • At least 3 years of experience in a financial function; preferably in insurance or other financial services sector
  • Qualification in accounting
  • Team player, collaborative, focus on client skills
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Access, PPT, Visual Basic)
  • Previous experience on systems such as OIM (and "ITG Modules) and Sunsystems
  • Good knowledge on Data Basis analysis and Business Intelligence tools (Power BI) is considered a plus
  • Fluency in English is considered a plus
