About the team

This is a great opportunity to join the Latin America Risk Management team. Risk management enables conscious and transparent risk-taking by proactively partnering and constructively challenging stakeholders to facilitate business success across Swiss Re.  Risk Management must:

• Be a trusted business partner by providing sound independent input that allows for informed decision making and successful strategy implementation

• Measure, monitor and advise on risk taking activities within the Reinsurance business, and ensure compliance with Group governance and frameworks.

 

About You

  • Excellent oral and written English skills;

  • Intermediate Spanish;

  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills. Creative approach to presenting insights with compelling visuals;

  • Proficient in Access and Word;

  • Strong interest in/motivation to learn about insurance/reinsurance. Previous knowledge in insurance/reinsurance is a plus;

  • Studying the 3rd to 7th semester (2nd and 3rd years)

  • Education: Administration, Economy, Law, International Relations and affairs

  • Skills: Adaptability, organization, rigor/ discipline, attention to details, curious, accountable and team player.

 

About the Role

  • Support the Risk Management team in the activities related to the BDPO tool;

  • Assist in the implementation of regulatory requirements related to the Risk Management Structure of the Swiss Re Brasil Resseguros legal entity and in the preparation of the entity's semi-annual risk report;

  • Support in creating operational events and monitoring their respective deadlines;

  • Support in preparing Risk Reporting and monitoring documents;

  • Deep dives into laws and regulations that may impact Reinsurance and Insurance activities for Latin American countries;

  • Administrative support in the team's daily activities;

  • Ad-hoc work in support of Risk Management
