About the Role

In this role, you will support the Corporate Solutions (CorSo) Claims Quality Assurance Head in delivery of the Claims Quality Assurance (QA) programme. Through your dedication to the highest technical standards in claim handling, you will support delivery of technical excellence in Corporate Solutions Claims, and support Claims as a point of differentiation.

Reporting to the Head of Quality Assurance, you will be responsible for:

  • Completing 'check the checker' claims reviews (technical file reviews)
  • Providing feedback on the quality of completed reviews

In addition, you will support:

  • maintenance of the global Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • local teams in aligning local SOPs with the global SOPs
  • training of Team Leads
  • analysis of QA data and provide insights and improvement actions (lessons learned) to Claims
  • targeted technical claim issue reviews (including adherence to Corporate Solutions Claims Commitment (CCC) KPIs)
  • system improvements on the basis of QA and technical claims requirements
  • reassign or replace claims for Team leaders' review
  • reporting progress of team leader reviews

About the Team:

  • The role is an individual contributor role and is positioned within CorSo Claims' Governance and Analytics team.

About You:

  • University Degree. JD preferred
  • The ability to read and communicate in English, Portuguese and Spanish
  • Deep understanding of technical claims (solid coverage, investigation, loss evaluation and claim valuation skills)
  • Minimum 7 years claim handling or related QA experience
  • Strong influencing skills and excellent client service focus
  • LEAN experience an advantage
  • Change management and corporate training expertise
  • Ability to communicate at the executive level
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency in the use of MS Office, Outook and ability to working agile with different claims systems
