About the Role


As a Scrum Master you will work directly with Product teams/Squads to advise and oversee their performance against Agile values, practices, and processes. Working closely with Product Owners and Chapter Leads, you will support the work of the Squad(s) by maintaining the backlog and facilitating Scrum ceremonies like daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning sessions, and retrospectives. You will ensure team performance is monitored through the Squad's dashboard and help identify continuous improvement opportunities to help the team work better and smarter.


Your main responsibilities:

  • Support Product Owners to review and manage the Product backlog and update it as appropriate
  • Ensure work is appropriately balanced across team & that all work is captured within backlog
  • Foster the team’s self-organisation, collaboration and knowledge sharing
  • Support and promote an effective feedback culture based on the Agile values
  • Ensure that decisions are made within the team, encouraging and supporting Squad members to take accountability for their decisions
  • Work with Squad(s) to embed and reinforce Agile practices, i.e., facilitate sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives and other Agile activities
  • Measure and monitor the squad's Agile maturity and provide constructive feedback to the team to help continuously improve
  • Support Squad(s) to track progress and output through dashboards (e.g., burn-down charts) and other reporting systems, i.e., enable Squad(s) to maintain relevant metrics and artefacts, ensuring accurate and transparent reporting
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities and best practices to progress the work of the Squad(s), e.g., by observing, coaching and engaging individual squad members
  • Engage with Chapter Leads to help identify and deliver against training needs to support Agile practices

To achieve this ambitious goal we are building up an incubator - a small start-up squad within the company.


About You


As a successful candidate for this role, you possess…


  • You have minimum 10 years of experience working in projects in Agile methodologies
  • Minimum 4 years' experience of that as Scrum Master and agile coach
  • A firm grip on Agile principles and excitement to embed these in teams across the organization
  • The ability and confidence to lead, direct, and coach squad members without formal management authority
  • A track record for taking a structured and well-organised approach to work
  • Excellent facilitation, communication and people-interaction skills
  • The ability to apply innovative and creative thinking in order to solve problems together with the squad to constructively address challenges and roadblocks
  • A continuous improvement mind-set and dedication to uncovering better ways of working
  • Lots of passion and energy to inspire and motivate others
  • A strong commitment to the organization’s new way of working through greater collaboration and breaking down of siloes
  • Proficient in English.
