About the Role  

The Sales & Distribution Manager is initially responsible for creating effective and efficient processes for sales operations. This includes building a sales support team and ensuring that training and development modules are in place. This role will help craft our offers and proposal documents along with user guidelines and handbooks for all respective processes. Additionally, this role will help prepare sales presentations by compiling data; developing presentation formats and materials, managing sales tracking process/systems and running and distributing monthly sales/pipeline reports. Draft and review broker/agency distribution agreements


This role will help define and issue broker/agency remuneration plans by aligning proposed remuneration model(s), managing broker inquiries around payment of commissions and facilitating the broker appointment process by maintaining paperwork and ensuring timely turnaround.


Additionally, in the early stages of the entrance into the U.S., the Sales & Distribution Manager will work closely with Operations, Marketing and Underwriting/Actuarial to develop and set-up systems and processes for new and renewal business.  Additionally, he/she will be integral to the development of the employee/employer portal and our enrollment capabilities. 


About Your Background

  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent work experience in a related field
  • Active health insurance license or has the ability to attain license status
  • Experience in enrollment process and enrollment platforms highly desirable
  • Experience in employer/employee portals highly desirable
  • Ability to lead diverse and remote teams
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel/PowerPpoint skills
