About The Role
The North America Healthcare Underwriting Team is looking for a highly motivated Underwriting Associate interested in working in a demanding and changing environment.

The Underwriting Associate is responsible for the maintaining compliant electronic records thought the policy life cycle. Regularly review account data for completeness as well as verifying accuracy-using source documents while informing underwriters of inconsistencies.

The position is based in the Schaumburg, IL office.

About You:
• Educational/Professional
o Associates Degree or equivalent experience; 4-year degree a plus
o Entry-level position; 1-2 years relevant experience a plus.
• Key skills and knowledge
o Strong analytical skills with the ability to deliver quality output on short deadlines and manage details without losing site of the "big picture"
o Strong communication skills to summarize complex technical issues to a non-expert audience.
o Flexibility to work in both a collaborative team environment as well as independently
o Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to inspire and challenge others
o Capable of building trust with business partners 
o Agile and flexible, ability to operate within a changing environment
o Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects and prioritize
o Excellent command of English (spoken and written)
o Stress resilient, with the ability to work independently
o Demonstrate personal accountability for area of responsibility
o Proficient in Microsoft office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
