About the Role

The role of the client manager is to manage Swiss Re's client relationships in the Korean market in a way which maximises client value to Swiss Re.

  • Manage an assigned portfolio of clients, with optimal and efficient utilization of Swiss Re resources and at all times ensuring appropriate premium and profitability targets are met
  • Ensure optimal cost efficiency by focusing on clients and tasks which bring the greatest value to Swiss Re
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams within Swiss Re for  ensuring effective delivery of client services and good management of business.
  • Develop strong personal relationships with appropriate contacts at client companies, industry bodies and regulators
  • Ensure the provision of excellent "after-sale" services and maintenance
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive intelligence on the competitive landscape
  • Facilitate introduction of new products and services to clients



About You

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant L&H experience in reinsurance or primary insurance
  • Strong understanding of strategic marketing in the life insurance industry
  • Strong product development skills
  • Team player
  • Comfortable in the client environment; able to interact effectively with client at senior management level
  • Ability to build a strong relationship internally and externally
  • Culturally sensitive; strong understanding of how to interact with different cultures
  • A strong command of the English language
