About the Role


Are you looking for an exciting career opportunity within the Strategy & Operations (S&O) Team in Division Asia, Life & Health (L&H)? We are the "glue" for Swiss Re's L&H business and enable Swiss Re's success across Asia by connecting teams and collaborating on a wide range of topics. You will be responsible for the efficient and high quality sales support to business origination community and administrative handling of the reinsurance business of L&H clients. This role will be the glue that sticks our cross-functional teams together and interacts with colleagues from other functions such as Underwriting, Business Development, Finance, Inforce, Claims, Technical Accounting, Legal and Business Services (BS).


Reporting to the Head of L&H Business Services Asia, your core responsibilities will include:

  • Support cross-functional business origination team to deliver sales activities and increase client engagement in assigned market
  • Support client markets in leading their cross-functional teams, i.e. steering, preparing and coordinating meetings and other activities, managing partners and communication
  • Support in the creation of client strategy and action plan from client loyalty survey and track progress
  • Analyze internal and external client data for L&H, including coordination with Finance team and other data providers, and prepare performance reports
  • Prepare high-quality briefing documents and internal/external marketing materials in coordination with the cross-functional team
  • Prepare internal and external communications, e.g. to clients, internal stakeholders including executive management level
  • Support on execution of brand marketing & communication tasks such as company portfolio, regular advertisement or SNS engagement as well as media planning
  • Develop and prepare a variety of communication tools and materials for external promotion and SR branding such as news media or SNS channel
  • Support on planning & facilitating L&H strategy day as well as ad hoc Client Markets workshop.
  • Coordinate client surveys including preparation of distribution lists, interpretation of results and development of improvement plans
  • Ensure best practice are followed for client visits preparation (statistics, open issues, overview, open balances)
  • Maintain overview on operational excellence and governance topics
  • Work together with Bangalore BS team to monitor operational risk in the respective market, help identify pain points from a process perspective and drive improvements of the systems and the end-to-end processes
  • Support business origination team to monitor internal KPI/metrics/pipeline, contracts in progress and budget planning
  • Ensure internal and external regulatory requirements are met and support business origination team when needed (e.g. AML, CDD, ITC, LPE, RCSA, internal and external audit compliance)
  • Ensure adherence and updating of locally created guidelines/best practice documents.
  • Adhere to business governance/requirements and drive positive audit outcome
  • Provide on-site administrative support as required (e.g. scanning treaty wet signature, reinsurance systems support)

About You


Professional/technical experience

  • 3-6 years of experience in reinsurance/insurance and business processes
  • Strong analytic and problem-solving skills
  • Experts in knowledge and overview of business applications
  • Experience driving marketing initiatives 
  • Knowledgeable in marketing and brand communication(preferred)
  • Solid knowledge in visual design in PowerPoint and other Microsoft products (Outlook, Excel, Word)



  • Strong command of English Language is a must
