About the Team

Swiss Re Corporate Solutions China is building up its business further. Execution of this strategy is across a variety of platforms. Are you a finance professional thriving at collaborating with people across the group to craft phenomenal solutions and build up a business? Are you passionate about the experience of our customers? Your contribution will be key to the Team Lead Finance Operations. You will support the tasks for accounting bookkeeping, documentation management, fixed assets management, expense management, and cash management. The key objective is to ensure the quality and efficiency of the accounting tasks allocated. We love numbers, foster openness and balance the needs of multiple clients! About the Role

  • Write requirements of Finance for new core business system;
  • Cooperate with IT and Finance IT in system development or improvement;
  • Month-end closing general ledger booking;
  • Collaborate with team on technical and non-technical accounting including economic valuation, statutory and tax accounting;
  • Expenses management via expense booking, reporting, variance analysis, allocation of maintenance expense, etc.;
  • Accounting documentation management;
  • Cash management support: cash flow forecast, bank account authorities management, etc.;
  • Assistance in accounting reconciliation and other tasks for core insurance system data migration and finance system upgrading;
  • Set up and update cost allocation processes; and act as a counterpart on allocations to Life Capital, coordinate and execute charging in line with agreement;
  • Support migration of personal lines to IFRS17 once required in China;
  • Define and execute controls as per control framework;Define standard operating procedures of Finance specific to personal line business;
  • Feed correct data into group finance;
  • Support data quality governance committee and set up data governance framework for Personal Lines Finance ensuring golden sources and consistent definitions of financial metrics;
  • Ad hoc tasks required.


About You

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Good in spoken and written English (CET-6 or above)
  • Excellent command in Microsoft Excel
  • Good communication skills
  • Familiarity with SUN system is preferred
  • Minimum 5 years finance experience, 3+ years' experience for general ledger is preferred
