Partnership Marketing Manager

About the Team

Swiss Re Corporate Solutions China is now looking to build business with personal insurance products sold under the brands of existing and new distribution partners. Execution of this strategy is via a B2B2C model across a variety of primary platforms.

You will be part of a team of partnership marketing managers to explore a variety of industries, build up the partnership pipelines, enter into commercial agreements, organize co-marketing events and turn the partnership into revenue streams. This position reports directly to the Head Partnership Marketing, but will need to work closely with other teams such as insurance product team, technology & operations and customer services team etc.

 

About the Role

  • Source, prospect and manage a strong pipeline of commercial partnerships to broaden the scope, size and value of B2B2C offerings
  • Negotiate and ensure preferential commercial terms and conditions for new partnerships
  • Strengthen and leverage the terms and scope of current relationship to enhance revenue generation and partnership commercialization
  • Collaborate with product managers and partners to identify insurance solutions opportunities and drive through the implementation
  • Collaborate with Product and Marketing teams to plan, implement and track marketing campaigns to have the best exposure through well designed marketing schemes and product offerings
  • Collate, analyze and provide analytical insights into the performance of partnerships and their potential growth

 

About You

  • You have a passion for partnership and relationship building and seeing sales growth
  • You have ability to envision, articulate, and execute a compelling future for the business
  • You are well versed with pitching skills and familiar with partner pitching cycle/process
  • You have polished written and verbal communication and presentation skills in Chinese, and you can present with comfort and ease
  • You have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify solutions for partners
  • You can work cooperatively and collaboratively under pressure with all levels of employees and management
     

Education

  • Equivalent university degree or higher
  • MBA is preferred

Languages

  • Chinese Mandarin (listening, speaking, reading and writing) is a must
  • Fluent command of English is a plus

Professional experience

  • 5+ years' relevant work experience within P&C primary insurance, including at least 3 years' experience in mainland China
  • Successful track records in business development and partnerships building
  • Established strong relationship and extended network with digital P&C platforms, ecosystems and start-ups etc.
  • Deep understanding and rich experience in prospecting new partners and existing pipelines management to maximize the partnership base and drive sales opportunities
  • Demonstrated skills in collaborating and coordinating resources across internal departments, to develop appealing customized material and proposals for partners in various aspects while within allowed budget
  • Ability to develop strategic sales plans for different industries and channels in China
