About the Team

Swiss Re Corporate Solutions China is now looking to build business with personal insurance products sold under the brands of existing and new distribution partners. Execution of this strategy is via a B2B2C model across a variety of primary platforms.

In this role, you will be responsible for assisting Head of Operations, Personal Lines, to set up operational excellence function, covering operational initiatives and transformation, operational performance and efficiency, operational cost and vendor management, as well as operational quality assurance.
 

About the Role

•    Set up and closely monitor Ops performance dashboard and metrics, to ensure stable and superior operation performance as well as continuously improvement of service level
•    Act as PMO, to assist Head of Operations to initiate and implement ops excellence & transformation initiatives to enhance ops efficiency, and promote ops digitization
•    Work with Head of Operation, to manage operational cost and budget control, including routine BU cost and TPA vendor cost. 
•    Work with APAC sourcing and outsourcing team on TPA vendor service purchasing, due diligence, onboarding as well as ongoing vendor management. 
•    Set up operational quality assurance function, work with operation BU teams on service quality control, work with 2nd and 3rd line of defense to address any compliance, operational risk control as well as internal audit related issues. 
 

About You

•    You are very detail oriented and data driven
•    You like technologies, mobile applications, and artificial intelligence etc., and dare to try new things
•    You have curiosity, intellectual capabilities and perseverance to continuously improvement your processes and aim to building a first-class customer service system
•    You can work under time constraints and pressure, and are excellent at handling conflicts and complaints from various stakeholders
•    You are a great team player and love to identify customer services solutions together with partnership managers and other cross functional teams
•    You are influencing and can communicate your ideas to all key stakeholders clearly

Education
•    College degree or higher degree in Finance, Management, Insurance, Business, etc.

Languages
•    Native Chinese speaker
•    Fluency in English is a must

Professional experience
•    8 years of relevant experience in insurance industry, 5 years of experience in project management, operational excellence or lean management
•    Familiar with insurance company end to end processes
•    In-depth understanding of local P&C market, frequent issues, compliance, and regulatory requirements on customer services, Insurance-tech company experience would be a plus
•    Demonstrated innovative experience and successful cases in applying new technologies to drive customer satisfaction and operational excellence through automation
•    Experience in vendor management, contract management, and records management
•    Comfortable working in an international environment

•    Outstanding interpersonal, communications and presentation skills
