About the Role

Support Swiss Re’s commitment to be an employer of choice by effectively supporting the HR operations in South East Asia. Support the HR Advisor, SEA in the delivery of operational human resources services and ensure compliance in daily administration with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements as directed by leadership.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Employee Benefits Administration
- Medical Benefits and Insurance

  • Compiling and updating vendor on employee movements
  • Responding to staff queries on entitlements and benefit plans
  • Support annual renewal process as needed

- Other Benefits

  • Working with vendor on benefits administration
  • Administration of following programs:
    • Non-Monetary Recognition Reward
    • Continuous Service Award

 

HRIS Administration

  • Act as a checker to all entries into HRIS
  • Support employees on queries regarding Time Management System
  • Generate reports and provide data as required

     

Employee Life Cycle Management

  • Manage employee on-boarding and off-boarding process
  • Conduct 1st day HR Induction for new joiners
  • Handle full preparation of quarterly New Employee Orientation program
  • Handle HRIS update and letter generation for promotion, change of role, change of FTE etc.
  • Personnel file management

 

Expat Management

  • Compiling monthly International Assignee Cost Tracking reports for KPMG tax and International Assignee Team
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholder for the relocation of International Assignees / Transfers

     

Other HR Duties

  • Manage and process all HR related invoices
  • Support employee processes updates including handbook and benefits
  • Checker and back-up to payroll process
  • Support internal & external audit requirements as needed
  • Back-up for ContactOne tickets assigned to SEA Group
  • Handle employee queries in a timely and efficient manner
  • Actively participate in HR process improvement or any HR projects as needed
  • Compile, analyse and submit regulatory reports as well as management reports (headcount, turnover, expatriate costs, etc)
  • Ensure compliance with the local regulatory framework with timely returns
  • Manage vendor relationships and governance

 

About You

 

  • More than 5 years in similar role, preferred in an MNC
  • Experience working in a Financial Industry will be an added advantage
  • Hands on experience in HR operations, reporting, auditory compliance
  • Experience in phandling payroll will be an added advantage
  • Conversant with local HR regulations and tax requirements
  • Sound knowledge of benefits administration process
  • Strong MS Excel & MS Word; MS PowerPoint skill is preferred
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Efficient and organized; highly meticulous and able to multi-task
  • Calm, independent and reliable to complete task
  • Keen learner and willing to take on new task
