About The Role
- Daily collaboration and coordination with team members, Team Leads, and both internal and external clients.
- Underwriting support with the handling of renewals and endorsements.
- Review, verify and organize detailed source documents from clients applying standard guidelines and procedures to determine next steps.
- Partner with the client or process owner to resolve any errors and complete the transaction.
- Follow-up on any outstanding items and documentation.
- Where applicable, prepare documents for issuance and review for customer acceptance.
- Written and verbal communication with colleagues and clients in timely responses to inquiries regarding files, records and other documentation.
- Generate and verify business reports.
- Craft business correspondence using template forms, where appropriate.
- Apply the appropriate SOP's to related work while adhering to established Service Level Agreements for the applicable business unit supported.
- Build and maintain electronic, and any applicable hard copy, records following established guidelines and processes.
- Partner in developing concepts, processes, and critical success factors for achieving high success in operations.
About the Team
Our team supports the Underwriting functions of the North American Surety Bond division. We handle tasks ranging from the review of incoming submissions to problem resolution with our Underwriters and Agents. Our Underwriting Associates are knowledgeable workers who contribute to the overall success of our business unit. This is a dynamic organization with a team that stretches around the world!

About You
- Minimum of Bachelors degree, 4 years of equivalent work experience
- Experience supporting Surety Bonds lines is advantageous.
- Takes personal accountability and able to lead and complete assigned work independently, and with high accuracy with regards to details.
- Competency in proofreading and reviewing work.
- Strong verbal, written, and analytical skills.
- Fully proficient in the English language.
- Other languages, such as French is a benefit.
- Adept in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
