About the Role

We are seeking a hardworking individual to join our team, who has a passion for handling details with outstanding organizational skills, and for analyzing data. You will lead internal client management activities to enable timely and accurate handling of this interesting and complex portfolio, working closely with Underwriting, and multiple other functions to accomplish this mission.

About the Team

Join us, the MGA team in North America! Our team is a unique group, handling program business. You will benefit from working with a team with extensive experience managing client service teams and complex situations.

Responsibilities & Key Tasks:

  • Coordinate the entry of IRS data in systems and tools used by this business unit
  • Work with Underwriting and the client service team to accomplish tasks
  • Identify problems and develop solutions that demonstrate creative solutions for our customers, as well as meet internal requirements
  • Manage a fast paced, demanding environment in terms of prioritization of tasks, managing tight timeframes, accomplishing tasks through other people in various other functions, and balancing urgent issues with regular duties
  • Engage in sometimes difficult discussions with the Senior Management, balancing compliance needs with the needs or desires of our partners
  • Utilize analytics and perform quantitative analyses to support the oversight of the IRS Business Unit
  • Lead projects that support either the IRS business unit or Operations generally

About You

  • Insurance background is a must
  • You have a University degree, or work experience equivalent, which includes direct involvement in Commercial lines products and coverages
  • You have solid experience in the Insurance Industry working primarily with Commercial Lines
  • Insurance Institute of America (IIA) or equivalent certifications desirable
  • You have experience with cross-team collaboration including the ability to navigate through corporate processes
  • You have a solid understanding of regulatory requirements relating to rate, form and rule filings, cancellation and non-renewal, non-admitted market, etc.
  • You balance multiple priorities and work effectively under tight timeframes
  • You are strong with the Microsoft suite products
  • You have a strong appreciation for the need to meet stated minimum compliance commitments within the timeframes given
  • You have experience managing projects while working with cross-functional and/or virtual teams
  • You have proficiencies in research and a knack for handling data
  • You have excellent analytical problem-solving skills, a business mentality, a can-do demeanor and an ability to assimilate sophisticated information
  • English Communication skills, both oral and written, are a strength
  • Some travel is required
