We are seeking a hardworking individual to join our team, who has a passion for handling details through outstanding organizational skills, and for analyzing data. We manage MGA partnerships, working closely with the business units, as well as multiple other functions.

We are searching for an MGA Program Manager, whose main responsibility is to manage the MGA Onboarding and Oversight framework by leading internal and external client management activities to ensure MGA adherence to our global MGA framework as well as timely, quality, efficient and innovative deal execution of CorSo MGA and Front programs.

Responsibilities & Key Tasks:

  • Lead the due diligence and onboarding process for prospective MGA Programs
  • Work with the entire client service team to monitor MGA program operational and underwriting oversight requirements
  • Identify problems and develop solutions that demonstrate customer focus as well as meet internal requirements
  • Lead annual audits at client's office in collaboration with underwriting, claims and others
  • Manage a fast paced, demanding environment in terms of prioritization of tasks, managing tight timeframes, accomplishing tasks through many other people from other functions, and balancing urgent issues with regular duties
  • Engage in sometimes difficult discussions with the MGA's Senior Management, and balance compliance needs and internal profitability requirements with the needs or desires of our partners
  • Utilize analytics and perform quantitative analyses to support the oversight of our MGA partners
  • Lead projects specific to both MGA partners and for our internal processes

About the Team

The NA MGA team is located primarily in the Northeast. We handle MGA relationships for Corporate Solutions, that are either retained or ceded to our Reinsurance colleagues. We also are part of our international MGA team, building consistent processes across regions and ensuring our MGA and Facilities portfolio runs efficiently and compliantly. Some of our key colleagues are based in Zurich, London, and Sydney.

About You

  • Insurance background is a must
  • You have a university degree, CPCU, or work experience equivalent, which includes direct experience working with Commercial lines products and coverages
  • You have experience with cross-functional teamwork including navigating through corporate processes
  • You have a solid understanding of regulatory requirements relating to rate, form and rule filings, cancellation and non-renewal, admitted and non-admitted market, etc.
  • You balance multiple priorities and work effectively under tight timeframes
  • You are very strong with the Microsoft suite products, especially Word and Excel and can assimilate sophisticated information
  • You have client facing and negotiation skills and experience, as well as experience in running projects while working with cross-functional and/or virtual teams
  • You have strong proficiencies in research and a knack for handling data
  • Analytical problem-solving skills are a key strength, and you possess a can-do demeanor
  • English Communication skills, both oral and written, are a strength
  • Some travel is required
