About the Role

This position is responsible for gathering, organizing reports and pulling together the information necessary to prepare a stop-loss insurance quote for our client partners via received Requests for Proposals (RFP), entering data into the David Young system, interacting with clients to resolve questions, gather missing data required to process the quote.


About the Team

  • Responsible for gathering and organizing reports and information necessary to prepare an employer stop loss submission to the Underwriting department
  • Compile, sort and verify information received for completeness and accuracy
  • Request additional information, when necessary, to complete the employer stop loss submission process
  • Input necessary information into the underwriting module
  • Locate and correct data entry errors, or report them to supervisors
  • Communicate effectively with manager, the underwriting team and with outside producers
  • Assist in training and mentoring newly hired Underwriting Associates with the traditional product
  • Utilize the proper SOP's for each task related to preparing an employer stop loss submission to the underwriting department
  • Maintain and update SOP and reference guides as needed


About You

  • Associates degree in finance, mathematics or a related field preferred or equivalent experience
  • Excellent PC skills
  • Strong knowledge of Excel and Word programs
  • Strong oral and written communications skills
  • Strong ability to pay attention to details
  • Ability to limit time off during peak seasonal periods
  • Some overtime may be required during peak seasonal periods
