About the Role
This position is responsible for organizing and analyzing reports to prepare a stop-loss insurance quote for our client partners via received Requests for Proposals (RFP).  This role is also responsible for analyzing and preparing applications and policies for contracts.  This exciting opportunity provides dedicated and energized individuals with a thorough understanding of the beginning and final processing of a Stop Loss quote.

 

About the Team

 

Main tasks/activities
•    Compile, sort and verify information received for completeness 
•    Review work for accuracy and grammatical syntax
•    Request additional information from various sources to complete either piece of the process
•    Utilize the proper SOP's for each task related to preparing submissions and contracts 
•    Assemble and revise contracts for new and renewing client sales
•    Navigate internal company databases and reports to process submissions, confirm, revise and add account records
•    Collaborate with key partners including but not limited to, outside producers, internal colleagues in the Underwriting, Sales, and Regulatory Operations departments 
•    Assist in training and mentoring newly hired Underwriting Associates 
•    Maintain and update SOP and reference guides as needed
•    Complete various projects as required/assigned by Management
 

About You
Job Requirements
•    Associates degree in finance, mathematics or a related field preferred or equivalent experience
•    Adept in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
•    Strong verbal, written, and analytical skills with a high level of attention paid to detail
•    Familiarity with proofreading work preferred but not necessary
•    Ideal candidates will be proficient in English
Additional Comments
•    Some travel may be required 
•    Ability to limit time off during peak seasonal periods
•    Some overtime may be required during peak seasonal periods
