The Digital Markets Incubator has been created to support our clients in addressing the opportunities and challenges of the digital transformation of their industries. About the role

 

We are currently seeking a motivated student talent to support the Digital Markets Incubator for 4-6 months. The candidate will support our strategic growth plans by conducting research on market trends, competitive landscape, and potential partners to refine our offering and value proposition. Support the build-up of a new business proposition covering all aspects from strategy, implementation (from tech, operations to legal etc.) and go-to-market

 

Key responsibilities of the role include:

 

  • Support in the development of risk services that use risk data to solve client problems
  • Identify market trends, competitor movements for specific areas and derive implications for our offerings 
  • Identify potential partnerships in targeted areas, determine the feasibility of business development, and perform economic analysis on new opportunities
  • Support the translation of technology foundations into communicable benefits for clients and partners
  • Collaborate closely with agile cross-functional team to deliver quality output within the expected timeline

 

About you

 

We are currently seeking a student talent who is innovative, creative, analytical, and a strategic thinker, who enjoys problem solving, works effectively in teams with complementary strengths, and thrives in a fast-paced setting that is constantly evolving:

  • You are currently pursuing a master's degree in a quantitative subject such as economics, engineering, and computer science, ideally with focus on innovation & entrepreneurship
  • Possess passion for technology, deep understanding of technology landscape and key trends
  • Knowledge of data platform, platform design and architecture, and cloud solutions is an added advantage
  • Strong interest to learn about risk and the insurance industry, as well as about our client's industries
  • Ability to quickly understand, consolidate and present information
  • Excellent oral and written skills to communicate complex issues in a persuasive and engaging manner
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in an interdisciplinary and multi-cultural environment
  • Proficient in English (written and spoken), other languages are a plus

 

Duration of internship 4-6 months, starting date is flexible!

 

Location: Zurich 

 

Due to immigration regulations non-EU/EFTA and UK citizens must provide a certificate from the university confirming that an internship is integral to their course of study. Kindly submit the mandatory letter from your University with your application documents.
