About the role 

As a Data Scientist Graduate, you will join the Zürich-based team of data scientists to develop analytics services and solutions in collaboration with internal business experts and external clients. You will demonstrate sophisticated analytics methods like machine learning, as well as the Swiss Re platforms to deploy your models into production. You will work closely with other data scientists, contributing to the projects from early inception onwards. 

About the team 

The Advanced Analytics Centre of Expertise (AA CoE) is part of the Group Data Services. The AA CoE implements Swiss Re`s Technology Strategy and supports its business functions in generating insights and crafting data driven products & solutions, be it with our internal business partners or directly with our external insurance and corporate clients.

About You 

Technical requirements

•    Advanced degree and education with a quantitative background (computer science, data science, applied mathematics/physics/statistics, engineering)
•    High level of analytical problem-solving skills and ability to assimilate complex information
•    Good knowledge and strong interest in the field of analytics (machine learning, statistical modelling, data mining)
•    Fluency in Python and/or R, combined with proper code engineering. SQL is a plus.
•    Specific platform knowledge (Azure, Palantir Foundry…) is a plus
