About the role

The Head of Service Projects will not only need to be an exceptional hands-on and agile Project Manager, but also have outstanding Management skills. You will proactively lead a team of 6-7 direct reports comprising of specialists in the area of Project Management, Customer Experience & Service Design and Change Management. The focus for this role will be the efficient management of personnel, responsible as a point of blocking issues, developing your team members, mitigate project risks, supporting the experts in accomplishing their objectives and actively leading your own project portfolio.

 

What you bring

We are looking for candidates with 5+ years of working experience as a Leader as well as a Project Manager with a strong performance record and relevant educational background (e.g. Bachelor's/Master's degree or similar). As an experienced Project and People Manager with applied knowledge and a solid performance you have a good understanding of the different ways of leading projects by applying both – the traditional and agile - project management approaches as well as encouraging co-creation and cross-functional collaboration. The primary goal of all Service Projects is to focus our attention on the client while simultaneously ensuring that Project Management, CX & Service Design and Change Management best practices are applied.

 

You have experience in:

  • Managing and inspiring the team in an agile way so that they deliver their full potential, filling any gaps and removing any impediments to ensure the service projects and all other deliverables are accomplished successfully.
  • Driving programs and projects in terms of agreed deadlines, delivering high quality, approved budget and confirmed scope.
  • Transferring your knowledge and expertise to the team by empowering them to make own decisions
  • Identifying and implementing of measurements for improvement on all project and service-based activities e.g. consistent reporting, customer satisfaction
  • Identifying and handling risks and their mitigations together with your staff, the customer, external partners and stakeholders
  • Handling multiple parties often with opposite demands and deadlines

 

Furthermore, you have / are:

  • An entrepreneurially thinking and acting, have a convincing and winning appearance to meet diverse customer needs and motivate project leaders and staff
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, you are highly engaged, energetic, proficient and trusted.
  • Confirmed experience in project management methodologies (agile)
  • A strong team focus and orientation on customers and results.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • High proficiency in English.
