We’re looking for a student keen to experience working in an interesting, friendly environment supporting our engineers in different smaller projects.


The opportunity:

You’ll support our Risk Engineering team in establishing new lean processes and improving the existing ones in the context of our service offerings for the international insurance business. You will work in close collaboration with stakeholders from different disciplines such as legal, compliance, tax, Information Technology and many more. Thereby, you will have a highly interactive, social and dynamic working environment which will enable you to learn new skills and concepts on a daily basis. Furthermore, you will also be responsible for tracking and reporting of intercompany activities, which would require some basic knowledge of Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) and Excel.

We will expect you to commit to working fulltime for a minimum of 6 months.


About You:

  • Bachelor or Master in natural science (e.g. physics) electrical, mechanical or industrial engineering
  • Basic understanding of project management frameworks such as lean project management
  • Able to work independent
  • Powerful analytical, written and verbal communication skills
  • Very good knowledge of excel and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA)
  • Significant interest in working in interdisciplinary fields
  • Experience with databases is also desirable.

  • Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Fluent in English, any other language is an advantage


This internship position will be vacant as per July 2019 for up to 6 months.
