Given the important part motor/auto insurance plays in our portfolio, Swiss Re has looked into these trends and subsequently built a new and highly innovative automotive department to provide adequate solutions to insurers and mobility players.

Other times you may have to dive deep into understanding the basis of the ask, analyse data and develop something together with a client.
 

In order to help us position Swiss Re as a leader in automotive insurance, we are seeking the best Automotive Partnership Manager.

 

About the Role:


As a partnership Manager you are a key business partner for your assigned clients, being them Car Manufacturers or Mobility Providers. You build and manage global relationships and are accountable for the financial outcome. You understand insurance and the mobility needs of the ultimate customers and use your insights to support the team defining strategies and innovative insurance and mobility propositinos.  

 

Responsibilities and Key Tasks:

 

  • To build, develop and maintain profound business relationships with OEMs and Mobility Providers
  • To distribute our products to your assigned clients (Car manufacturers and Mobility providers) with accountability to meet the financial targets
  • To deeply understand the Automotive and Mobility industries in relation to insurance needs, and continuously feed the product owners with your insights
  • Support the definition of new and innovative insurance solutions and mobility propositions, centered around the needs of our clients and our clients' clients.

 

You are a person with the following essential characteristics:

 

  • Client focused & Solution oriented: You have extensive experience in either primary motor insurance, automotive sector or mobility, passion for clients combined with a can-do attitude
  • Self-motivated & open-minded: you thrive in an environment where you have room to identify the next step on your own, asking for help proactively where required
  • Adaptive & organized: You are ready to adapt to the timescales, location and environment you face, have a quick mindset and structured thinking

  • Team-player & enabler: you communicate accurately and with a view to enabling the people you work with to perform at their best. You love to work in an international environment.
  • Sales oriented & Fluent: You have a passion for sales and marketing, a track record in successfully launching insurance products for car manufacturers and mobility providers and an excellent oral and written command of English.

 

 Additional

 

  • Strong prior experience in the fields of primary motor insurance products, insurance program implementation and an interest in tech-based solutions
  • Fluent English, knowledge of additional languages is a plus
  • Based in Zurich, Munich or Milan with flexibility to travel
  • Available 80-100%

Swiss Re P&C Solutions uses Swiss Re's risk expertise, strong capital base and new technology to help clients grow and improve profitability by developing innovative solutions and sharing the risk. The Automotive & Mobility Solutions team develops innovative solutions for Motor Insurance for Insurer, Car Manufacturers and Mobility Providers.
