About the Role


As Senior Communication Business Partner, you will play an important role in positioning Swiss Re on Inclusion & Diversity (I&D) matters and in engaging stakeholders in dialogue on related themes. You will help drive Swiss Re's I&D agenda globally and apply your strategic and creative thinking to develop and deliver sound communication concepts, while pioneering fresh ideas. You will also bring your experience in working on I&D matters and your strong judgement to bear to ensure transparent, inclusive and tactful communications.


The Senior Communication Business Partner:

  • Plays an important role in positioning Swiss Re and engaging employees on Inclusion & Diversity (I&D) matters
  • Plans, coordinates and implements I&D communications
  • Develops key messages and ensures they are used consistently, globally 
  • Ensures sensible sequencing and effective orchestration of I&D communications, and alignment with the company's values, vision and strategy
  • Promotes open, transparent, consistent and timely communication to key stakeholders on I&D matters and measures the outcome of communication efforts in order to continuously improve impact
  • Partners closely with HR's I&D and employer branding team and acts as the communications point of contact for internal clients on I&D matters, including senior leaders
  • Supports opportunities for dialogue on I&D matters and contributes to raising Swiss Re's position on I&D topics internally and externally
  • Creates high-quality content in English – e.g. articles, blogs, social media content, videos, interviews for a variety of channels
  • Liaises with colleagues in HR and Communication globally – e.g. in Branding and Media Relations to ensure consistent messaging, and with regional I&D leads

About You 


You have

  • A Bachelor/Master degree or equivalent in Communications, Journalism, Political Science or Humanities 
  • Minimum of 7 years experience in Communications, ideally in different areas including internal, external, digital communication, in a corporate or agency environment
  • Experience in working on Inclusion & Diversity matters
  • Superior stakeholder management skills 
  • The confidence to challenge the status quo and speak your mind
  • Outstanding storytelling, writing and editing capabilities
  • Strong conceptual, planning and project management skills
  • Appetite to apply new tools and strategies 
  • A healthy level of attention to detail
  • Stamina and persistence to pursue new ideas
