iptiQ EMEA Property & Casualty is a newly built unit within Swiss Re Life Capital, established to deliver digital-native and creative solutions for Property & Casualty (P&C) clients and partners across Europe that engage with consumers in non-traditional ways.

 

About the role

As the Partner Delivery Manager, you will have a rare and exciting opportunity to join us: a diverse and motivated team, committed to delivering value and innovative services together with our partners in the primary insurance space. You lead the build-up of a state of the art, end-to-end, digital Insurance-as-a-Service-Platform, in an agile and cross-functional environment. Once established, you onboard and ensure continuous service delivery to our B2B clients across the value chain, while driving the next wave of growth across Europe. You own the delivery of the platform and services to your assigned partners and support our platform design board.

 

Your responsibilities include:

  • You handle the end-to-end service delivery for our partners, from collecting their requirements, participate in developing the distribution partner journey, to structuring the requirements in platform features and oversee the implementation
  • You enable and drive functional, feature, and support teams, across multiple offices and external partners, including offshore delivery.
  • You maintain the overview across all outcomes and dependencies, and lead release/sprint plans and backlogs, and run respective resourcing and budget
  • You delight our B2B clients as you build a direct relationship, seamlessly onboard them onto our platform, and ensure continuous service delivery
  • Dedicatedly steer and drive governance processes related to platform delivery including driving and supporting contract processes as required.
  • You lead and develop the use of distributed agile project management and partnership tools

About you

  • At least 5-7 years of experience in business & technology program management, operations management and/or respective consulting
  • Primary Insurance industry experience with know-how across the value chain, and an understanding of the key levers in primary insurance is a requirement
  • High levels of organization, detail orientation and results drive, with validated project management skills and the ability to influence others to deliver toward a common goal
  • Ability to "connect the dots" across functions and topic areas to quickly understand key relationships and dependencies
  • Ability to adapt, adjust and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with agile methodology and frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban
  • Big picture mind, while being able to dive into details and to work on developing solutions when required
  • Clear and effective social skills with senior business leaders and project teams
  • Passionate about forming strong positive relationships and collaborating closely together with our B2B partners to ensure an efficient delivery
  • Open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, VSTS and Jira or other agile project management tools

  • Fluent in English and one other Western European language
