About the Team


The Swiss Re Corporate Solutions (CorSo) Energy Property team is a trusted leader in the marketplace, with highly qualified colleagues in every region providing large capacity risk transfer solutions in the Oil & Gas (up-, mid- and downstream), Power & Utilities and Mining segments. 
International Programs are central to CorSo's offering to customers and a key pillar of Energy Property's future growth ambitions. It is an exciting time for our team as we seek to establish ourselves as one of the top insurers offering primary policies for international programs in the Energy space.

About the Role


The International Program Manager (IPM) Energy provides guidance to underwriters in structuring their programs, compliant with local regulations, laws and market practices. The role is a key enabler for business growth, smooth operations, high-standard service delivery and generating a positive client experience. 
You will work in close collaboration with the client facing Energy underwriters and support them in coordinating and driving complex International Programs accounts from submission to service delivery. You will be responsible to help build and support the International Programs target opportunity pipeline, collaborate with underwriters and sales to identify new business leads, and establish CorSo as the International Programs provider of choice in the Energy area. 
You are encouraged to proactively engage with the International Programs deal team and other professionals in Operations, Risk Engineering Services, Claims and Captive Services, collaborate with Global Network Management & Network Partner Services Hub to address specific requirements of our customers, and work closely with the International Financial Management team. 
Further, you will support the development of our product offering (e.g. an Energy compliant OneForm), and are responsible for monitoring, steering and reporting of the Energy International Programs portfolio.

Your professional experience, competencies and skills
•    You are an insurance professional and have significant work experience (10+ years) in the primary insurance sector in underwriting, account management or claims roles 
•    You have proven work experience in International Programs business of at least 5 years
•    You are familiar with legal, regulatory and compliance frameworks for primary insurance across multiple international markets
•    You have excellent organizational and time management skills and are able to handle complex transactions and cross functional resources in an effective, timely manner
•    You are ready and eager to learn, adapt and work in a constantly changing environment; you are keen to question and improve established processes
•    You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and are comfortable with presenting ideas and solutions to peers, clients and senior leaders 
•    You are confident in delivering training and coaching sessions on international program topics to business partners and colleagues
•    You exhibit a high level of drive, positivity and can-do mentality
•    Besides being proficient in English language, any other European language you speak is advantageous
•    The role may require some travel activity
