About the role

We are looking for a Vice President to join the Reinsurance Strategy team.

 

The ideal candidate will:

  • Initiate, develop and support projects that contribute to the Reinsurance business unit’s strategic priorities, covering P&C, L&H and investment topics on a global basis, including monitoring and providing feedback to business leaders.
  • Build an understanding of key issues and create/develop the appropriate messaging to help ensure the wider buy-in and success of strategic actions
  • Project manage strategic initiatives for the Reinsurance Business Unit, where you will have regular contact with senior management and business leaders, including members of the Reinsurance Management Team.
  • Prepare presentations and analysis for senior Reinsurance leaders, management meetings and external communication (e.g. Rating Agency meetings and Investor Days).
  • Assist with competitor analysis and monitoring of market trends and business activities
  • Support and contribute to various projects and ad-hoc analysis
  • Build a broad network with senior leaders throughout the Swiss Re Group

 

About the team

Our team focus is to manage and coordinate key strategic projects for the Reinsurance Business Unit, to

prepare and monitor competitor and market intelligence and to support the CEO Reinsurance and the

Reinsurance Management Team.

 

About You

  • Degree level education, further business qualifications an advantage
  • Minimum of three years' experience in an international consulting firm, preferably dealing with financial services clients
  • Experience of insurance and/or reinsurance an advantage
  • Excellent written and spoken English, other languages are an advantage
  • Superior communication skills, with an ability to develop arguments and present these in a clear and structured way. Excellent PowerPoint skills are a must.
  • High energy, you are known for your client focus and can-do mentality
  • Good analytical skills, ability to focus on details without losing track of the big picture
  • Enjoy working in teams with people from different departments and in different locations
