About the role

We are offering an exciting position within our Transformation and Operational Excellence team, covering new fields within digitalisation and operational transformation. Join our team and support our strategic initiatives that pave the way to a data-driven, digital and lean reinsurance organisation. As a Consultant Transformation and OpEx Graduate, you will be part of our project teams and responsible for a wide range of agile, digital and analytical tasks.Our project portfolio is composed of major strategic initiatives that involve a large number of units and executive stakeholders in Life & Health as well as Property & Casualty Reinsurance, and aim at improving the organisational structure, processes and systems as well as product offering.


Key tasks and responsibilities:

- Become part of our project management teams and support the Project Management Officer with tasks such as: preparing relevant decisions, share outcomes with internal audience groups, stakeholder management, action tracking, project timelines & planning and meeting preparation;
- In addition, support the delivery of executive presentations, process mapping, workstream management and communication material;
- Act as support to the Scrum Master by running the backlog and sprints, coordinating key meetings and developing sprint plans / agile release trains (Scrum trainings and coaching will be provided);
- Map key processes (As Is), jointly with relevant internal stakeholders across the impacted units, applying our internal process mapping tools;
- Participate in assignments that drive organizational development, jointly with one of our senior team members
- Communication and Change Management within projects to a wide range of internal stakeholders across the layers of the organization.


About the team


Our team is based in Zurich, Kansas, Bratislava, Hong Kong and Bangalore and is reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer of Reinsurance. Our responsibility spans across the whole Reinsurance organisation. We are committed to improving the operating model of the Reinsurance Business Unit to achieve effective, integrated and future-ready organizational models, processes and systems for best-inclass customer service.The team is currently exploring agile ways of operating; as result it offers the opportunity to get involved with several projects and tasks based on interest, capability and experience. We value teamwork and collaboration, have an open communication culture and combine deep business know-how with a "Can-Do" mentality.


About You

• Successfully completed university degree, preferably in Business Administration, Marketing, Technology or Science
• Strong motivation to learn about insurance/reinsurance and operations
• Structured mind with the ability to think across, conceptualise and translatecomplex situations into feasible implementation plans
• Excellent communication skills with the capability to adjust to different audience groups; specifically presentation and listening skills
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Approaches problems with curiosity and open-mindedness, fast learner and customer oriented
• Ability and enthusiasm to work in an international environment
• Contribute towards building a goal-oriented and divers team that builds on each other'sstrengths
• Experience with project management (waterfall or agile) and/or Change Management is a plus
• Interest for technology, data and organizational development
