About the Role

 

As a Product Area Lead for the Service Insights Product Area in Group Technology Services (GTS) you will help define and build the new Service Insights Centre in GTS. You will be dedicated to work across one Value Stream with multiple product backlogs and have management of some budget. You will have shared commercial accountability, with other Product Area Leads in GTS and support them and the leadership. You will develop a product or service with a new business model for the organisation. To support the Product Area, you will manage up to 5 Product Owners and develop products within Service Insights, and you will coordinate closely with your Product Owners and key stakeholders to stay aligned on business strategic goals and support the respective Product Owners to ensure that their squads within the Service Insights Product Area are progressing and delivering against them. You will also, drive attention to meeting KPIs and strategy alignment, for major product changes & improvements with internal experts.

 

Your main responsibilities:

  • To set overall vision to direct, inform and prioritize the order of work​ to maximize value within constraints of resource, strategy and compliance​ with an entrepreneurial mindset
  • To incubate and commercialize innovative, disruptive solutions​, using data and validation techniques incl. demo, usability testing, A/B testing to prove hypothesis
  • Co-create, prioritize and communicate product roadmaps and high-level squad backlogs using iterative techniques with feedback loops.
  • To bring transparency of the backlog and align squad members with all stakeholders​
  • Communicate financial forecasts with business case creation identifying market segmentation and bring clarity on the value proposition
  • To balance & manage technical debt in line with customer value work and to deliver the squad mission and objectives with shared accountability with the Product Owner​.
  • To ensure voice of the customer is heard and focused on by squad​.
  • To ensure cooperation between squads and manage interdependencies​ and remove impediments and create an environment for people to excel.
  • To support the squad to deliver on budget, to clear scope, with clear guidance on timelines with clear acceptance criteria.

 

About the Team

 

The mission of the new Service Insights Tribe is hugely ambitions – we want to provide autonomous IT Operations capabilities (e.g. with AI) to recognize and resolve serious issues faster and with greater accuracy than humans can today. We will provide monitoring and predictive insights about how all IT services are meeting current and will meet future service level objectives (stability, availability, security etc.). We will support and enable business and technical domains to deliver the data required for our vision.

 

We aim to achieve this mission by:

  • Providing a continuous (24/7) overview about the IT Health (current issues, incidents, deployments, possible future issues etc), reduce time to resolve and predict issues
  • Providing KPIs to the CTO in order to steer the strategy, investments etc
  • Providing value to Application Owners by providing transparency on stability, show pain points, where to improve etc.
  • Providing value to Business Units by supporting making our IT Infrastructure stable and reliable and being transparent about outages or incidents.
  • Inform all relevant stakeholders of issues with an impact

 

The core scope of the Product Area includes:

  • Establishing and running a Service Insights Center.
  • Proactive monitoring across IT services and products.
  • Operate a central destination to obtain service insights data.
  • E2E Ownership of the entire Service Insights Center Infrastructure.

 

About You

 

We would love to meet you if you share our vision and possess:

  • A degree in related field or relevant experience of business domain.
  • Qualifications such as CSPO / PSPO or ability to demonstrate equivalent knowledge.
  • Product Domain expertise in multiple domains e.g. proven data & analytical capabilities.
  • Experience understanding customer needs, can demonstrate expertise in Risk & Data, strong business & financial acumen & strategic mindset.
  • Experienced communicator both written & verbal and strong stakeholder management skills and able to influence in servant leadership style.
  • Experience making decisions based on imperfect data.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to motivate others across line management boundaries.
  • English fluency is a must, German is an advantage. 
  • Readiness for close teamwork cross multiple locations.
