EMEA P&C Claims Data Analyst


We are looking for an experienced EMEA P&C Claims Data Analyst with experience from best-in-class Property and Casualty operators in Europe / USA to join our EMEA P&C Claims Operational Team that is shaping the future of the B2B2C Claims business.


About the role


The Claims Data Analyst will focus on developing processes to gather relevant claims data and create models to enable Claims Team and Operations to take informed decisions focusing on process performances, cost efficiencies and opportunity costs. You will play an important role in our transformation journey across Europe and in multiple LoB as every process needs to be measured, valued and benchmarked against alternatives.



  • Identify and measure performance and efficiency drivers for Claims Operations,
  • Develop accurate cost data models for claims processes,
  • Acquiring data from primary or secondary data sources and maintaining databases
  • Interpreting data, analysing results using relevant techniques
  • Continuously suggest ways to improve performance and efficiency,
  • Actively participate in developing new claims value propositions,

About You


  • At least 3 years of relevant experience as data analyst / business analyst,
  • Understanding of technical accounting for insurance premiums, claims, commissions, taxes etc.
  • Good insurance claims knowledge in at least 2 out of the following countries: Switzerland, Spain, Germany, Italy and the Netherlands,
  • Fluent in English, one more major European language is a plus


To be successful at this role, it is important that you have relevant insurance experience combined with Agile working methods. You will work in a team with more than 100 years of insurance claims experience where we are eager to transform and digitalize the claims experience to above and beyond todays' standards.


You will be reporting to Head of Claims in Zurich, for the right applicant, we can also consider Hoofddorp (NL), or Bratislava.
